Its blooming period begins at the end of May and lasts almost until winter: the water lily “Nymphaea Froebeli”. She owes her Zurich family name to garden designer Otto Froebel, who domesticated her in 1898 for the first time. The passionate cultivator, who was in charge of most of the magnificent villa gardens and public parks in the city, would be proud if he knew how we honor his water lily today.
This season, the “Froebeli” not only floats on top of the newly created, romantic water lily pond on Signaustrasse 6. She also shapes the delicately drawn logo that represents the entire corporate identity of the house.
