The ENSOIE store is as much a part of Zurich as the Fraumünster or the lake. The label stands for printed silk fabrics, dresses, jewelry and ceramics with that certain something. Formerly known as Abraham & Brauchbar, Monique Meier took over the traditional silk store in 1974.

Eleonore, Sophie and Anna Meier – daughters of the company founder and musician Dieter Meier – have been running the business since 2010. The Meier sisters have succeeded in combining tradition and innovation. The store on Strehlgasse not only inspires hipsters from Zurich’s creative establishment. Hollywood star Kirsten Dunst is also a fan.
